The design management team is responsible for designing and improving the overall user experience of all public facing websites and internal web applications. We are looking for highly skilled individuals to come join our growing team. If youre passionate about design, requirements gathering, problem solving, business process and functional documentation,
GENERAL SUMMARY: Analyzes user needs and performs research and functional analysis on a variety of projects at the technical-expert level; performs additional duties as assigned. Analyze user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements, focusing on standardization and efficiency. Identify legacy systems and process risks and develop quantifiable business cases for improvement. Perform functional allocation to identify required tasks and their inter-relationships. Identifies resources required for each task or activity and facilitates the documentation of all related findings through the various assigned activities and tasks.

Primary responsibilities:

1. Engage customers, users and stakeholders in dialogue in which to elicit real needs and requirements.
2. Gathering, analyzing, and validating the real needs of Enterprise Resource Planning projects.
3. Analyze the business processes and document the functional requirements for PeopleSoft-based projects. This includes:
1. Create process diagrams and accompanying descriptions
2. Document process roles and responsibilities
3. Create field-level integration requirements
4. Identify metrics for benchmarking and conduct post-implementation impact analysis
5. Configure system parameters to match process requirements
6. Create and execute functional test scripts
7. Long-term support of the application
4. Managing functional and technical requirements
5. Be user-focused
6. Deliverables included but not limited to the following:
1. Functional and technical documentation
2. Business process documentation
3. Process diagramming
4. User stories
5. Use cases
6. Fit-gap analysis
7. Light prototyping (wireframes)


This position is the bridge between business stakeholders and project teams.

Qualifications

* Strong quantitative skills
* Able to build business cases for initiatives and represent the arguments necessary to prioritize these initiatives
* Unafraid to challenge the status quo and drive towards innovation

* Comprehensive knowledge of design processes, including research and analysis.
* Expert ability in writing and producing useful project documentation (design briefs, audience definition, comparative analysis, prototype notes, etc.)
* Expert ability to effectively communicate visually through drawings, diagrams, prototypes, flow charts, etc.
* Expert ability in creating content structure and flow.
* Expert ability to creatively develop solutions from ambiguous or ill-formed requirements.
* General knowledge of processes and methods (i.e. Agile, Scrum)
* General knowledge in working with our enterprise software technologies and business reporting tools, including: Corda, Business Objects, etc.
* Bachelors degree in related field
* 10-15 years of relative experience in the field of work.

* Interviewing or ability to facilitate JAD (Joint Application Development) sessions
* Excellent interpersonal skills to help negotiate priorities and resolve conflicts among project stakeholders
* Ability to prioritize requirements
* Understanding of how ERP software is positioned and developed

* Project Management
* Experience with and a working knowledge of:
o PeopleSoft ERP
o HR and or Finance processes
